Principal's Notes

Dear Franklin Parents,

I am delighted to be the principal of Franklin High School. I have been the Franklin Principal since 2009, and every year, I am grateful to be surrounded by motivated, smart, and caring staff and students. Together with parents and community members, we will continue to work hard to strengthen Franklin’s reputation as a unique, rigorous, and truly wonderful learning environment.

Our staff is thrilled that you have entrusted your children’s education to us. We will make every effort to help your child achieve academically and socially this year. We look forward to continuing our standard of excellence in education and making even bigger strides to provide our students with the best education possible.

FHS is a special place for students to learn and grow from childhood to adolescence. I believe in our mission and dedicate myself to creating an environment that is safe, secure and that nurtures the whole student at this critical time in their development.

I encourage parents and students to become actively involved in the school. There is a wide array of activities, clubs, and athletic teams available to join and in which to participate. This is a great time to explore and grow. Students will discover new friends, new skills and new interests. I want our students to experience an exciting school year at Franklin High School.

If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher, administrator, counselor or me.

As the Principal, I have committed myself to work with our community and parents of Franklin High School to ensure that we continue to grow and prosper. Please do not hesitate to contact me at (209) 933-7435. I am also available Monday through Friday between 6:00am and 4:00pm.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child during the 2013-2014 school year.

Sincerely,

Mr. Reyes Gauna
